Confined to an apartment, the work created during Turner's BA (hons) in Fine Art at Leeds Arts University have repeated settings. One of those being his bathroom. The wet, dark and dank room presented the atmospheric spaces seen in the Horror films he references - notably 'Saw' (2004), 'The Collector' (2009) and, 'The Silence of the Lambs' (1991). These movies would not only inspire Turner's practice but would create the foundations of his academic research.
